Wyatt, Kalman win WRMYC Tuesday Series Races May 25, 2021 at SPIRE
The end of May marks the end of Western Reserve Model Yacht Club’s first month of Tuesday competition for 2021. The WRMYC Tuesday Series is a seven month long series of 4 to 5 Tuesday dates a month, for a total planned program of 27 events concluding at the end of October.
At the end of the 12-Heat May 25 program, in the Gold Fleet, Mike Wyatt won, with Bob Shuster in second by a single point. Placing third was Series leader Dave Steger. In Silver Fleet, Bob Kalman again won every Heat, 12 for 12. The club’s next event will be this Saturday, May 29 at 9 AM, followed by the Tuesday races on June 1 at 4 PM. All WRMYC racing is at SPIRE Institute, Rt. 534 just North of I-90, in Geneva. The public is invited to visit any of the races, and learn more about RC model sailboat racing.
